ALICIA Contributes to MASTT2040 Roadmapping Workshop in Brussels

On 26 February 2025, ALICIA participated in the MASTT2040 Roadmapping Workshop in Brussels, joining other EU-funded projects to collaboratively explore the future of European manufacturing. The workshop focused on outlining actionable strategies to enable a competitive, resilient, and green industrial ecosystem by 2040.

A central theme of the day was the development of Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS), and participants discussed its opportunities, challenges, and relevance to sustainable production models. Through a series of interactive sessions, four strategic roadmaps were co-created to inform future MaaS business models and guide policy development across Europe.

The ALICIA consortium was pleased to contribute its perspective on circularity in production equipment and engage in knowledge exchange with related projects such as EARASHI. Collaborative initiatives like these are critical to shaping an interconnected innovation landscape that supports Europe’s industrial transition.
